2026 AC Water Main Replacements

This project replaces approximately 5,000 linear feet of aging AC water main with ductile iron pipe from SE 40th Street from Greenbrier Ln to E Mercer Way, 97th Ave SE from SE 40th St to SE 36th St, and 3700 and 3800 block of East Mercer Way. The project also includes replacement of related system components such as fire hydrants and water service connections.

The project will be split into 2 phases: phase 1 will consist of work on SE 40th to address the low water pressure in the area. Phase 2 work will consist of the remaining areas.

Planning/Design: Q3 of 2026 – Q2 of 2027

Construction: Q2 of 2027 – Q4 of 2027
