Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) 2020
This process has concluded for 2020
The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a rolling 6-year plan updated annually with a focus on maintaining the existing transportation network and improving it in a thoughtful, safe manner working within the financial constraints. The TIP covers City roadway, pedestrian, bicycle and other transportation projects.
Note: The City has an existing plan that identifies various future upgrades in pedestrian and bicycle facilities, many of which have been adopted into the TIP.
Each year, public comment and staff input are gathered to inform new proposed additions to the TIP; the City Council makes the final decision on each project's priority.

Suggestions could include projects such as road safety improvements, resurfacing, pedestrian crossings, bike infrastructure, safe routes to school, ADA access, traffic management, etc. The formal comment period opens March 16, 2020, and has now been extended twice, through June 16, 2020.
