Transit Interchange Complete

As of April 2023, all of the main construction at the project area is complete, and the new roundabout is operational. Both station plazas are also complete, with only minor curbing and fence removal to wrap up. Lanscaping is installed and will be monitored as the summer arrives.

Other remaining construction in the area is related to the ongoing King County Sewerline work.

Sound Transit crews continue to work down at track level to correct some concrete issues that are leading to a delay in full opening for East Link on Merer Island (currently expected to be Spring 2025)
