The City Council wants your feedback!

Council Connects is an engagement tool to help the community provide feedback to the City Council about upcoming policy issues.

We know that traditional public engagement (attending public meetings or providing written submissions) can often be time consuming and inconvenient, and sometimes daunting.

Council Connects gives you the opportunity to have your say on issues that are important to you, at a time and place of your choice. It is just one piece of a broader city effort to make it easier for you to engage with local government.

How does it work?

Staff will post Council Meeting packets to the Council Connects page on the same day they are distributed to Council, typically the Thursday or Friday before a Council Meeting. Once posted, the meeting-specific comment section will open for community feedback.

Comments received before a Council Meeting will be compiled and given to Council to be read ahead of that meeting.

To keep this page relevant, only the past four meetings will be visible. For past Council Meetings go to www.mercerisland.gov/councilmeetings.
