Upcoming Pickleball Court Closures

It’s time to put the finishing touches on the pickleball courts at Luther Burbank Park! In June, FieldTurf/Beynon Sports will return to install the permanent acrylic surfacing, and Alloy Arts will restore the mural Summer in the Wetlands. While work is happening, the courts will be fully or partially closed for pickleball play.

The current schedule for work and associated closures is provided below.

• June 2-15: All courts closed to install acrylic surfacing
• June 30-July 3: Two western-most courts closed to restore Summer in the Wetlands

This upcoming work depends on dry weather, and the closure schedule is subject to change. Updated information will be shared on Let’s Talk when available.

During court closures, community members can still play pickleball at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center. Find the drop-in sports schedule here.
