Construction Update for April 24

The new playground at Roanoke Park continues to take shape! Over the past two weeks, R&R Construction:

• Continued building the new drainage system
• Began installing the crushed rock subgrade for the accessible play area surfacing
• Removed more concrete footings leftover from previous playground equipment.

Posts for the new swings and spinner have also been installed, and the City’s Stormwater team built the pipe connection from the new play area drainage system to the existing stormwater outfall along 70^th Ave SE.
