Construction Update for June 5

Significant progress continues at Roanoke Park! Here's an update on work from the last two weeks.

• Play equipment posts and most components have been installed - including much of the 18' tall Neptun Climber!
• The crew finished pouring the concrete curb that encloses the play area. Remaining concrete work, including the picnic area pad and parking stall, will be installed completed near the end of the project.
• Additionally, the contractor finalized the rock subgrade for the poured-in-place (PIP) accessible surfacing. City staff and the consultant team will inspect the subgrade next week in preparation for installing the PIP.
