Roadway Impacts on West Mercer Way Expected on June 11
On Wednesday, June 11, Pacific Premierscapes will deliver materials and equipment to Roanoke Park to install the new poured-in-place (PIP) accessible play area surfacing as part of the playground replacement project. This post provides additional details about the delivery and potential roadway impacts.
Action: Single lane closure of northbound lane
Reason: Delivery of materials and equipment for the Roanoke Park Playground Replacement project
Mitigation: Flaggers will maintain one-way alternating traffic
Location: West Mercer Way and 70th Ave SE
Timeframe: Wednesday, June 11, 7:00-11:00AM
Details: On Wednesday, June 11, three 65’ tractor trailers from Pacific Premierscapes are scheduled to deliver materials and equipment to Roanoke Park to install new poured-in-place (PIP) accessible play area surfacing as part of the Roanoke Park Playground Replacement project. During delivery, the northbound lane on West Mercer Way will be closed and trucks will be staged in the parking lot at Aubrey Davis Park Lid C (images of the road impacts and parking area provided below). The contractor will provide signs and flaggers to control traffic to minimize impacts to the public. Community members can expect some travel delays on West Mercer Way during this delivery.
