Updates for January 2025

Permits for the Roanoke Park Playground Replacement project have been issued, and staff, the contractor, and the design team will hold a pre-construction meeting on site later this month. Staff anticipate construction will start in February and last 3-4 months. The main constraint for construction is weather – installing the new accessible play area surfacing requires warm, dry conditions. Allplay Systems and R&R Construction, the contractor and subcontractor for this project, are arranging the construction schedule to be able to take advantage of a good weather window as soon as one hits this spring.
