Design Concepts Survey

The City of Mercer Island is developing an Infrastructure Plan for Clarke and Groveland Beach Parks, and we want to hear from you!

The Infrastructure Plan will identify and prioritize specific park renovations and repairs to be implemented over the next 10-15 years. Priorities for Clarke and Groveland were informed by technical analysis of the existing site conditions as well as community input collected in Fall 2024 and include:

  1. Dock/pier and beachfront improvements
  2. Shoreline erosion control and stabilization
  3. ADA accessibility
  4. Other amenities, such as restrooms, wayfinding/signage, and parking

Learn more about the existing conditions and findings from the early community survey here.

In this survey, we seek input on design concepts for both parks. Questions cover your preferences and priorities for park features. The survey will take about 10 minutes to finish and can be completed for one or both parks. Parents and guardians, we encourage you to take the survey with your children!

Your input will assist the City in gaining a better understanding of the community needs and preferences for Clarke and Groveland Beach Parks. Thank you for your input!
