Deane's Children's Park - Survey #2: Design Concepts

The City of Mercer Island is developing a Site Plan for Deane’s Children’s Park, and we want to hear from you!

The Site Plan is necessary to address aging playground equipment and will focus on inclusive play, which is a play for all approach to ensure that children with all abilities have the opportunity to play and recreate together. The Site Plan will also address broader park improvements such as restroom and picnic shelter replacement, overall site circulation, and the development of park amenities that meet accessibility standards

Community feedback from the first phase of community outreach played an important role in shaping the preliminary design concepts. To learn more about what we heard, you can view the outreach summary hereIn this survey, we're asking for your input on both the park design concepts and specific play features. Your feedback will help shape the final design.

Parents and guardians, we encourage you to take this short (5-minute) survey with your children! Your input will assist the City in gaining a better understanding of the community needs and preferences for Deane’s Children’s Park.
